Early May we participated in the Maydan festival in Amsterdam West, a super fun experience. While we stamped our freedom in practice, we also had many nice conversations about language. About how they differ, not only in writing but also in expression. Language is everything, gives everything. If only we could read and understand a language in the blink of an eye…
The great thing: producing things together binds us.
This time we used stamps. Very old stamps, used within the Dutch educational system. With outdated message, but beautiful images. Stamps found on Market place, of which we can’t determine the base language yet. Is it Armenian?? Also very recently produced stamps made by the University of Amsterdam, for playing with DNA structures.
It’s all about SCRIPTURE, guys.
