Use art to create the opportunity for dialogue. In a session of 3 hours, your professional hosts are ‘newcomers’ and will guide you through art made by artists who fled to The Netherlands recently. Your hosts will facilitate group discussions using Visual Thinking Strategies and Visible Thinking.
These two methods developed by MoMA and Harvard will introduce you and your team on how to look carefully at works of art and discuss your observations as a group and respect opinions of others, learn to look further than first impressions and set out judgment. You become a more careful observer, more attentive listener and more thoughtful speaker.
In times of polarization art once again appears to be a very suitable means for connecting with each other.
You’ll be looking at original artworks and sharing your thoughts and impressions with your team members. The experience of mindful moments of observing and listening to each other strengthens the teambuilding and enhances creative thinking.
It strengthens critical thinking skills, as well as analytical reasoning and problem-solving abilities and helps navigate new situations through observation, reasoning and respectful interaction.
