The Right to Create connects creatives. At the moment we are building a network with creative activists, designers and communication experts from different backgrounds, with and without a refugee background, just learning from each other on an equal basis. The social fabric we build determines the outline of our communication plan as an inclusive communication company. It is a work in progress, as we start with connecting with companies and platforms, such as Foundation Here to Support, the ‘Samen tegen Racisme’ platform. We expect to meet a lot of people in the coming months, along the way we build a (visual) identity for our agency and will map our ideas. We will conclude the research phase with a symposium on the challenges and obstacles in building an inclusive communication practice. What can emerge from the symposium (planned in November) is a manifesto for an inclusive, cooperative communication and/or design practice, or a public statement.
