Mohamad Badenjki

Aleppo, 1991

My passion for calligraphy was given to me by my uncle. I was fascinated by how his reed pen touched the paper and the sound that came when the pen with the ink and the scraped paper met.
The style of calligraphic lettering is built from Arab civilization, pure grammar that requires years of practice. Arabic Calligraphy has a great history and has evolved over the years, has been deepened and has become complete. I practice calligraphy as art, and also give workshops in it.
