Julien Obama was born in Gabon, lived in Mali and came to Netherlands 4 years ago. His work narratives agricultural rituals, social structures and fertility, with an unprecedented sense of detail and a -for us- new perception. Unfortunately, he did not get a permit and he had to leave the country recently.
